Chris Sutton is providing predictions for all 380 Premier League matches this season, featuring various guests. For week 12, he is joined by Peter Hooton, singer for The Farm and a Liverpool supporter. The Farm’s latest single, “Forever & Ever,” is currently available, and their new album, “Let The Music (Take Control),” is scheduled for release in May 2025. Sutton’s prediction for the match is 1-3. He believes Enzo Maresca’s return to Leicester, his former club before taking charge of Chelsea in the summer, will be relatively straightforward for Maresca and his team. Sutton notes that Leicester has had a satisfactory start to the season despite Maresca’s departure, but he still views Steve Cooper’s task of keeping them in the league as challenging. Sutton’s only reservation about a Chelsea victory stems from the uncertainty surrounding teams’ form after an international break and the status of injured players. He specifically mentions Cole Palmer, expressing confidence that Palmer will start the game, asserting that if fit, Chelsea will possess “a little bit too much for Leicester.” Hooton’s prediction is 1-2. He recalled Chelsea appearing to be “a basket case in the summer” but was impressed by their performance at Anfield earlier this month, noting they “had a gameplan and played really well.” He conveyed his sentiment to Chelsea fans he knows, stating, “crisis over.” Hooton highlighted Moises Caicedo’s good form and Nicolas Jackson’s recent scoring, but emphasized Cole Palmer as the player who “makes them tick.” He described Palmer as “a joy to watch, like a park footballer really – he appears lazy and nonchalant, but he is total class.”
