Man Arrested Following Woman’s Death in Milton Keynes

A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman. Thames Valley Police reported that the ambulance service was called to a property located in Holywell Place, within the Springfield area of Milton Keynes, during the early hours of Saturday morning. A woman, aged in her 40s, was transported to hospital, where she subsequently died. A man, also in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday and remains in custody. Det Ch Insp Mike Roddy, from Thames Valley Police, commented: “We have launched a murder investigation, which may be concerning to the wider public, however, we have made an arrest and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.” He additionally stated that the man and woman were known to each other.
