Midfielder Matty James, who has played in more than 100 matches for both Leicester City and Bristol City, has finalized a contract extension that will keep him at Wrexham through the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. James initially arrived at the club, known as the Dragons, in October on a short-term agreement, following his release from Bristol City during the summer. The 33-year-old player has participated in seven games for Wrexham. James stated, “It’s really good to be settled and I’m looking forward to playing as many games as I can and help try to take the club to the next level.” He added, “I’ve got that focus and desire to keep progressing with the club and I’m really happy to be staying.” James, who developed through the Manchester United academy system, has also previously played for Leicester City and Bristol City. Wrexham’s manager, Phil Parkinson, commented, “He has done well in his short time at the club so far and we look forward to working with him going forwards.” Post navigation Manchester City Reportedly Pursues Zubimendi Amidst Search for Rodri Replacement Football Transfer Rumors and Scottish Club Updates
