A teenager has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy. Emergency services attended to the victim on Tuesday evening in Station Road, Marston Green, near Solihull, where he succumbed to his injuries at the location. West Midlands Police confirmed that a 17-year-old male was arrested in connection with the murder and is currently being held in custody. Superintendent Wayne Carter stated, “We will have extra officers in the area over the coming days and I would encourage anyone with any information, or concerns, to get in touch.” Station Road continued to be inaccessible to the public on Wednesday.
