A woman was transported to hospital following a house fire. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to Barrow, near Bury St Edmunds, at 18:56 GMT on Monday. The blaze originated in a ground floor bedroom of the property on The Street, and four engines attended before the woman was “safely removed”, as stated by the fire service. The incident concluded at 20:45, and the East of England Ambulance Service conveyed the woman to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.
