Sunderland’s Mundle and Browne Out with Injuries

Romaine Mundle has contributed four goals and two assists in 15 Championship appearances during the current season. Sunderland forward Romaine Mundle and midfielder Alan Browne are both expected to be out of action for up to eight weeks due to injuries. Both players were substituted during the 2-2 home draw against Coventry City, which took place prior to the international break. Mundle, who has participated in all 15 of the Black Cats’ Championship fixtures, suffered a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland international Browne, credited with six league starts, sustained a leg fracture.
