A two-vehicle collision resulted in the death of one woman and serious injuries for two individuals. According to police, the two vehicles collided on Saturday at approximately 17:20 GMT on the A6 Wilstead Hill, situated at Haynes near Shefford in Bedfordshire. Bedfordshire Police further reported that several individuals received treatment for minor injuries at the site of the incident. Sgt Dan Newton commented, stating: “This was a tragic incident in which sadly one woman has died and two other people have sustained serious injuries. Our thoughts are with their friends and family at this difficult time.” The police force is requesting that anyone who observed the collision, or who saw a red MG ZS and a purple Volkswagen Transporter traveling on the A6 between 17:00 and 17:20, make contact. Sgt Newton additionally urged: “We know that there were a number of vehicles who stopped at the collision but who left the scene before speaking to officers – we would urge all of those drivers to get in touch as you may be able to help our investigation.”
