Durham seamer Daniel Hogg has signed his first professional contract, a three-year deal. This follows his first-class debut, where he recorded match figures of 8-100. Hogg, who turned 20 on Thursday, made his County Championship debut in August. In that match, he took eight wickets, helping his team achieve victory over Nottinghamshire. He initially joined his home county at the age of 13 and proceeded to make three more appearances in the County Championship last season. “Making my first-class debut for Durham was a dream moment, I have recapped over that day plenty of times and hopefully I can contribute more of the same next season and put in winning performances,” he told the club website.
