A woman is seeking to locate two men who rescued her from railway tracks after she fell, expressing a desire to thank them. Janet Burr, while en route to meet friends in London, lost her balance and fell onto the tracks at Cheshunt station, located in Hertfordshire. Two individuals from the public promptly intervened, lifting her back onto the platform’s safety before she was transported to a hospital. Her son, Ian, stated: “She wants to thank them. They put their lives at risk to save her and they don’t even know her.” The individuals involved in the rescue, which occurred between 10:30 and 11:00 GMT on Saturday, departed without providing any contact information. Mrs. Burr, described as being in her 60s, “lost her footing and did a backward somersault off the platform onto the tracks,” as recounted by her daughter-in-law, Anita. Anita further commented: “They didn’t give it a second thought. Not all heroes wear capes. We’d love to track them down and thank them personally.” Greater Anglia, the rail operator, has disseminated a post from Anita Burr on X, aiming to locate the two men. Mrs. Burr is still hospitalized but is reported to be “doing fine.”
