RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose has stated that his team is acutely aware of their current standing in the Champions League, which is zero points, and recognizes the urgent need to begin accumulating points. “The boys are very aware of it, you can feel it in the dressing room,” Rose commented. The German club has faced a challenging start to the competition’s new format, suffering three defeats in as many games against formidable opponents: Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, and Juventus. Rose reiterated the necessity for improvement, stating, “We know what we have until now is not enough and we need to start getting points some day.” He underscored the significance of upcoming fixtures, adding, “Of course it’s a very important match. Matchday one was like that, match day five and six will be like that.” Despite this, he noted, “We are not talking too much about the points. Everyone is aware of the situation, the boys are very aware of it, you can feel it in the dressing room.” Having previously achieved success at Celtic Park, Rose is now seeking his third victory in Glasgow’s East End. He remarked on the impact of the home crowd, saying, “The fans mean you need to be ready if you want to win here.” Rose expressed his anticipation for the match environment: “It will be a great atmosphere and we have to use it because we like to play in these kinds of stadiums.” He also outlined his team’s tactical approach: “We will have to defend all they give us to defend as well. But I’m sure we’ll get our chances in possession and transition and when we do we have to take these chances.” Rose conveyed his personal affinity for the venue, stating, “I always like coming here, I like the history of the club, I appreciate fan culture a lot.” He fondly recalled a previous encounter: “I remember my first match here with Salzburg in the Europa League very well, we played very well and the supporters accepted and honoured the result. I actually had some contact with a few supporters, they offered me a scarf. This creates a connection, and I also like their manager.” Post navigation Statistical Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs Stoke Jamie Vardy Extends Scoring Milestone Under New Leicester Managers
