Lincolnshire Artists Invited to Submit Work for ‘Art of the Now’ Exhibition

The Usher Gallery Trust, situated in Lincoln, is inviting artists based in Lincolnshire to submit their work for an upcoming open exhibition. Titled ‘Art of the Now’, the exhibition is set to launch in July 2025 and aims to celebrate the county’s vibrant art scene. A judging panel will evaluate all submitted works, which must have been created within the last three years and can include mediums such as painting, video, photography, textiles, and sculpture. The opportunity to enter is open to individuals of all ages and experience levels, with submissions being accepted until 7 April. Laura Garner, the exhibitions and interpretations assistant at the Usher Gallery, expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative, stating: “We’re really excited to open up the Usher to showcase some of the best work from our amazing local artists.” She further added that the “judging panel will be on the look out for originality, creativity, quality and skill, and on top of the fantastic opportunity to display your art in the Usher, there’ll be five cash prizes up for grabs too.”
