Dinamo Zagreb is looking to regain its winning form in their upcoming Champions League encounter with Celtic. Brendan Rodgers has refuted claims suggesting Dinamo Zagreb is in disarray. The Croatian champions are currently experiencing a five-match winless streak across all competitions and occupy third place in the third domestic standings. Nevertheless, they have amassed seven points in the Champions League, placing them just one point behind Celtic. Celtic manager Rodgers stated, “I think it tells you everything around it. If you pick up seven points in a Champions League format then it shows you that you’re a very good side so there’s some really gifted players,”. He continued, “At this level of competition, no matter what some teams may do in the league format, you know the Champions League is always something that really gives a team an extra motivation.” Rodgers added, “Whether it’s players that are missing or whether the form’s not quite been good, what you know is, in the Champions League, once the music comes, every team is motivated to win.” He concluded, “So we’ve prepared for a really difficult game, but we also want to make it really difficult for them.”
