Arteta Praises Gabriel Jesus’s Return to Peak Form

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his conviction that Gabriel Jesus has regained his peak performance level. The striker achieved a hat-trick during Wednesday night’s match against Crystal Palace, securing the team’s progression to the Carabao Cup semi-finals. These goals marked his first at the Emirates Stadium since 17 December 2023. The Arsenal boss commented, “The movement, the quality of his touches, the way he finished, his reactions – that is a big, big thing for him and the team.” He further stated, “It is a big message for the team in that we have got Gabby back at his best. Playing at that level he can really deliver for us.” Arteta added, “Gabby is someone who wants to do more. He wants to work harder and help the team more in every way. Today it got rewarded.”
