In response to a query inviting perspectives on overlooked aspects of Motherwell’s performance, both positive and negative, several supporters shared their views: Edward commented on the widespread discussion surrounding Lennon Miller being scouted by major Premier League clubs and his reported £4m valuation. Edward suggested that Miller, described as “a shining beacon for our club,” should remain at least until the end of the season to carefully consider his next move and ensure he would receive game-time at the highest level, referencing “what happened to David Turnbull.” Col acknowledged the team’s strong start to the season but highlighted that “our lack of goals from our four centre forwards is a cause of concern.” He noted that “To date they have scored three league goals between them.” Col added that “Theo Bair has been a hard act to follow but nobody is coming close to his level,” expressing hope that “If money is available in January I’d hope we can strengthen this area of the team.” Alan raised questions regarding the status of reported future investment following the club’s rejection of a recent investment offer from the USA, asking, “Can we survive without it?” Stuart expressed satisfaction with the season’s beginning, further enhanced by Miller’s progression. He advised against selling Miller to Rangers or Celtic, stating, “I believe he would be wasted there.” Stuart hoped that when Miller eventually moves on, he would “follow Josh Doig and Aaron Hickey’s ambition and go abroad,” pointing to examples like Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay in Italy and Spain.
