West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) has confirmed that three dogs were saved from a house fire in Burgess Hill. The service stated that it received a call regarding the incident just after 09:00 GMT on Sunday, with four fire engines responding to the scene in Middle Way. WSFRS personnel provided oxygen to one of the dogs extricated from the fire. The service further noted that all fire engines had departed the location by midday.
