Merseyside Police have apprehended two individuals on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Liverpool. The man, who was in his 50s, passed away in hospital two days after being discovered unconscious on Spellow Lane in Walton on Saturday. Authorities have indicated that the cause of death is currently unknown. A 34-year-old woman from Kensington and a 63-year-old man from Walton were questioned by police and subsequently released on bail. Separately, a 53-year-old man from Knotty Ash, who had been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, has also been granted bail. Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Ball has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
