On Sunday, 15 December, The New Saints achieved a 1-0 victory over Swansea City at Park Hall, propelling them to the top of the Adran Premier. Lexi Jones, who scored for the fourth game in succession in all competitions for The New Saints, netted the sole goal of the match in added time to secure the win for the home team. The visiting side encountered a setback midway through the first half when goalkeeper Charlie Haynes was forced off due to injury, with defender Nia Jones taking her place. Haynes’ replacement, Katy Hosford, later struck the bar for the Swans. The Saints, now unbeaten in 11 matches across all competitions, hold a one-point lead over reigning champions Cardiff City, although the Bluebirds possess a game in hand. Swansea remains in third position. Wrexham secured a dramatic 4-3 win against Barry Town United, with Olivia Fuller scoring a late winner to claim all three points. The hosts took an early lead at The Rock after just two minutes through Phoebe Davies, who registered her first goal of the season. Erin Murray then equalized for Barry, making it 1-1 shortly after half time. Fuller scored her first goal of the match three minutes later to re-establish Wrexham’s lead, followed by Ava Suckley extending it to 3-1. Despite goals from Amy Long and Ellie Preece for the away side, which appeared to have salvaged a point, Fuller completed her brace late in the game, securing Wrexham’s fourth league victory of the season. The match between Aberystwyth Town and Cardiff Met was postponed because of Aberystwyth’s participation in the Adran Trophy quarter-finals. Similarly, the fixture between Briton Ferry Llansawel and Cardiff City was also postponed due to Briton Ferry’s involvement in the Adran Trophy quarter-finals.
