A motorist has died after their vehicle departed a rural road and subsequently overturned, according to police. Emergency services were summoned to the A1095 Halesworth Road, situated near Reydon in Suffolk, at approximately 14:33 GMT on Saturday. Suffolk Police stated that the car was located in water adjacent to a sluice gate, and the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The road was reopened at 06:15 on Sunday, following a recovery operation. Law enforcement, the fire service, ambulance crews, and HM Coastguard responded to the incident. The road had been closed off between the A12 and Mardle Road, and diversions were established. Officers are appealing for witnesses and are requesting that any motorists with dashcam footage make contact.
