Police have identified the 20-year-old man who passed away following a car collision in Edinburgh. Henry Farron, an Edinburgh resident, was struck by a grey Volvo on Dundee Street in the city around 5:30 PM on Sunday. Despite the attendance of emergency services, Mr. Farron was declared deceased at the location of the incident. His family, in a statement issued via Police Scotland, expressed their grief, stating: “We are heartbroken by the death of our beloved son and brother Henry. He will be so very much missed by all who knew and loved him.” The 51-year-old male driver of the Volvo involved in the incident was taken into custody and subsequently released while investigations continue. Sergeant Dave Waddell commented: “Our thoughts remain with Henry’s family and friends, as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
