Law enforcement officials are requesting that residents review their doorbell and CCTV camera recordings following several burglaries in the east Devon area. These occurrences took place during the night between Monday and Tuesday in Exmouth. Police personnel responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on St Margaret’s View, where the keys for a blue Audi A4 vehicle were removed and the car subsequently stolen. Additionally, a white Vauxhall Vivaro van was reported stolen from a property on Bradham Lane, occurring under comparable conditions. Approximately at 01:15 GMT on Tuesday, authorities received an additional report concerning a burglary at Knobblies Bike Shop located on Exeter Road, during which seven valuable bicycles were removed. Detective Inspector Guy Biggar stated: “We are currently investigating a number of burglaries that have all taken place overnight from Monday 25 November to Tuesday 26 November.” He added: “It is not clear that they are all linked but as part of our investigation we are asking for residents in these areas to check their personal CCTV or doorbell cameras to see if they have any footage which may help with our inquiries.” Individuals possessing information pertinent to the police investigation are requested to get in touch with the force.
