Salford Red Devils have confirmed the signing of prop Joe Bullock from Super League rivals Warrington Wolves on a two-year deal. Bullock, 31, previously played for the Red Devils on loan last season, making eight appearances and contributing to their fourth-placed finish and a play-off spot. He joins Esan Marsters, Sam Davis, and Chris Hill among the new recruits for the Red Devils during the current close season. Bullock spent the latter part of the 2024 season on loan with Paul Rowley’s side. Commenting on his return, Bullock said: “I enjoyed the run-in towards the back end of last year and having the chance to work with Paul and the coaching staff I can see the direction the club is going and their ambitions for success,” He added: “Hopefully I can be a big part of that and let’s see what we can achieve in the next couple of years.” Head coach Paul Rowley shared his perspective on the signing: “I’ve known Joe a long time and he’s a great character that myself and the group really enjoy working alongside,” Rowley further stated: “He made a great impact for us whilst on loan last year and I’m sure with the support of everybody at Salford he will continue to be a fantastic asset to the team.”
