An arrest has occurred following an incident in a Leicestershire village where two individuals were hospitalized after a reported “dispute.” Police officers were dispatched to Reservoir Road, Cropston, at approximately 10:00 GMT on Friday. The incident involved a man, in his 20s, and a woman, in her 40s, who were “attempting to carry out work in the area.” Authorities stated that the injuries are believed to have been inflicted by a screwdriver and a pencil. A 47-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail, suspected of causing grievous bodily harm, according to police.
