A young boy residing in Guernsey has been granted a silver Blue Peter badge in recognition of his fundraising efforts. This particular badge is awarded to individuals who demonstrate kindness through actions benefiting their community or another person. Daniel was presented with his badge acknowledging his ongoing dedication to the RNLI’s St Peter Port Lifeboat Station. The RNLI stated that he had offered “brilliant help” over the past year during various fundraising events. Daniel expressed his feelings about the award, saying: “I’m very proud of this achievement. I wanted to get the Blue Peter silver badge so that I can show how much I support the lifeboats.” He was surprised with the badge on his 10th birthday after his father, Kyle, applied for it on his behalf. Kyle wished for his son to receive the badge as a “great way to recognise his generosity and passion”.
