Hearts head coach Neil Critchley has stated that the limited time he has spent with his squad on the training pitch since joining is “not a concern.” The 46-year-old manager acknowledged that his team is “learning on the job” as he endeavors to introduce his strategies and concepts, given the need to manage both Conference League matches and domestic top-flight obligations. Following an initial two victories in his first two matches and securing a crucial late draw against rivals Hibs on Sunday, Critchley expressed considerable commendation for his players’ efforts to date. “It’s not a concern but as a coach I want some time on the training pitch to improve the players and our way of playing,” Critchley said.”With the game schedule we have at the moment the players are learning on the job.“They have done that extremely well so far, they have been extremely receptive of the information they have been given. “Sometimes there is no better learning zone than doing it outside your comfort zone and being on the pitch.” Hearts are scheduled to host Kilmarnock on Wednesday night. Kilmarnock has a strong record at Tynecastle, having suffered only one defeat in their last nine Premiership visits, and will be looking to recover from their recent loss in Dingwall over the weekend. Regarding Derek McInnes’ team, Critchley commented: “If you look at some of the results this season some of the teams are evenly matched.”There have been some really tight games. If you look at Kilmarnock’s recent results they have picked up quite a few points in some very close games.”They had a fantastic win against Rangers and we know the type of game we are going to face but we have got to concentrate on who we want to be. “I don’t want that feeling like after the lord mayor’s show.” Post navigation Italian Tennis Star Jannik Sinner’s Popularity Endures Amid Doping Controversy Luke Williams Comments on Connor Roberts’ Potential Swansea Return
