A male juvenile has appeared in court, facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a samurai sword, after a 13-year-old girl sustained stab wounds. The girl was discovered with lacerations to her neck, abdomen, chest, and back near the A63 in Hessle at approximately 06:50 GMT on Friday, November 1. Humberside Police stated that the injured girl was in a serious but stable condition while receiving hospital treatment. The 14-year-old boy, whose identity cannot be disclosed, was remanded into custody following his earlier appearance at Hull Magistrates’ Court and is scheduled for his next court date at Hull Crown Court on Friday, November 8. Five other teenagers were apprehended in a wooded area near North Ferriby on Friday, in connection with the incident. Subsequently, three boys, aged 15, 16, and 17, along with two girls, aged 14 and 15, have been released on police bail.
