A cannabis farm was discovered after a house fire caused plumes of smoke to drift over east Leeds. Fire crews were dispatched to the address on Selby Road in the Halton Moor area at approximately 09:25 GMT on Thursday. After West Yorkshire Police received notification, their officers ascertained that the premises contained a cannabis farm. According to a force spokesman, no individuals were believed to have sustained injuries in the fire, and investigations are ongoing. The fire service indicated that crews from Leeds, Killingbeck, and Castleford were dispatched, and roughly 60% of the property was engulfed.
