Barrow goalkeeper Paul Farman, who has recorded four clean sheets in League Two this season, is optimistic his team can initiate a winning streak in the division. Ahead of their Saturday match against league leaders Walsall, Barrow has been without a win since 5 October, marking an eight-game winless period that has seen them drop to 13th place in the standings. However, with six matches scheduled over the upcoming three weeks, spanning the Christmas and New Year period, the team sees an opportunity to reverse their fortunes. “We want to get three points and go on a run like other clubs have,” Farman stated to BBC Radio Cumbria, adding, “Back-to-back wins and things would look a lot different.” The 35-year-old goalkeeper is keen for Barrow to regain the form that saw them lead the table in September, especially after their home fixture against Milton Keynes Dons was postponed last Saturday due to Storm Darragh. He further commented, “We’ve got loads of games, it’s a busy schedule coming up,” emphasizing, “But it’s definitely a chance to win games.”
