Kilmarnock midfielder Brad Lyons has stated that the club’s season could be “defined” by a sequence of five home matches scheduled within a 25-day period. With the busy festive fixture list fast approaching, Lyons aims to propel Killie upwards from their current 10th position in the league standings. Derek McInnes’ squad is set to host Hearts this Sunday, and will also welcome Aberdeen, Ross County, St Mirren, and Motherwell to Rugby Park before January 8, 2025. Lyons commented: “December is probably the first month that can properly define your season because, if you do start winning, you start building momentum and the games come thick and fast, which is quality.” He added: “As a player, that’s what we want, we don’t want to be training all the time, we want to be playing games.” Regarding the immediate focus, Lyons stated: “Sunday is all we are focused on now. If we get three points and build momentum off that, it will be tremendous.” Lyons concluded by emphasizing the importance of the upcoming schedule: “Having this run of home games looming is massive for the whole club, and the fans, If we get that home form right, then after December, January time, we should be right up there.” Post navigation Leicester City’s Defensive Struggles Overshadow Goalscoring Prowess Thorup Outlines Strategy for Norwich’s Premier League Ambitions
