A man died in hospital on Sunday, two days after being struck by a car in Warwickshire. Authorities were alerted on Friday to reports of a man in his 40s being hit by a grey VW Polo. The collision occurred on Coventry Road, near the junction with Stareton Lane, south of Stoneleigh, just before 20:30 GMT. He sustained serious injuries in the incident and was subsequently transported to hospital via ambulance. Warwickshire Police has issued an appeal for any witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam or CCTV footage to contact the force.
