Dundee’s goalscorer, Ziyad Larkeche, lauded his team’s spirit following their recovery from a two-goal deficit to defeat Kilmarnock at Dens Park. The 22-year-old Larkeche had also found the net against Kilmarnock earlier in the season during a match where Dundee had initially led 2-0 before ultimately losing 3-2. “It was a great mentality from the team to come from 2-0 down to comeback in this way, I think we can be really proud for us, for the fans and for the club,” he informed BBC Scotland. He further elaborated, “I think we have been playing good football, we have been showing a good attitude and mindset but it is important to take points and what we have done today is exactly that so I am really happy with the performance of the team and myself as well.” The QPR left-back, currently on loan, made an intense sprint into the penalty area to connect with Josh Mulligan’s cut-back pass, scoring from close range and igniting euphoria at Dens Park. Regarding his decisive action, he stated, “It is the way I am,” adding, “I was not happy with 2-2 so I said to myself ‘now you need to chase the last one’ and I didn’t think too much, I just thought ‘I need to chase for this goal’ and it came to me and I managed to score so I am really happy.” This victory marks only Dundee’s third win of the season, occurring after a sequence of one win and four defeats in their preceding five matches. He concluded by saying, “It is what we want, it is important to have momentum in football, and we take game after game. Today we are really happy and we are going to have a day off tomorrow and after that come back and directly focus for next Saturday.” Post navigation Cleveland Browns Achieve Comeback Victory Over Pittsburgh Steelers Amid Blizzard Southampton Captain Purfield Anticipates Key Match
