Law enforcement officials have reported that a 72-year-old male sustained severe injuries after being forcibly removed from his bicycle in an Aberdeenshire locality. The incident occurred last Thursday, between 10:00 and 11:00, as the individual was riding his bicycle along South Harbour Road, part of Fraserburgh’s beach promenade. According to Police Scotland, he was dislodged from his bike, resulting in a serious injury, and subsequently transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to receive medical attention. A male individual, identified as a suspect, was observed in the company of a woman and was walking two grey dogs resembling Welsh Terriers. Sgt Sam Hewett stated: “Our inquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or saw the man and woman to contact us.” He added: “I would also urge anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time to get in touch, as it could assist with our investigation.”
