While all pictures are welcome, those captured within the past week are more likely to be featured. Archived pictures are available on Instagram, identified by the hashtags #bbcdorset and #DorsetsBigPicture. Submitting a picture signifies agreement with the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Dorset’s Big Picture, individuals “agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide.” Contributors retain copyright to their submitted material for Dorset’s Big Picture. If an image is accepted, the contributor’s name will be published alongside it. The BBC cannot guarantee that all submitted pictures will be used and reserves the right to edit any accompanying comments.
