An actor, who garnered significant online attention after portraying the notorious air conditioning unit responsible for delaying the inauguration of the Co-op Live arena, acknowledged that his choice for a Halloween celebration was “quite specific”. Dan Ellis, from Manchester, explained that after learning about the ventilation unit detaching from the ceiling of the UK’s largest indoor arena in Manchester, he decided on his costume. The component had fallen from the roof of the 23,500-seat venue in May, just before a scheduled performance by US rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The event subsequently had to be cancelled. Comparing it to a beloved children’s program, Dan described the outfit as “a bit Art Attack,” noting it was constructed from a cardboard box, paper plates, and stickers.
