Two women, believed to be victims of human trafficking, have been rescued from a property situated in south Belfast. Their discovery occurred following a search of a flat within the city’s Annadale Embankment area on Friday night. Two men, aged 42 and 41, along with a 39-year-old woman, who were taken into custody during the police operation, have been granted bail to allow for additional inquiries. They faced questioning regarding several offences, including brothel keeping and controlling prostitution. A quantity of cash was also confiscated.
