West Yorkshire Police reported that the collision, involving a Renault Clio and a Mercedes G-Class, took place on Shipley Airedale Road at 21:50 GMT on Sunday. The force stated that the Renault had failed to stop for officers on Barkerend Road and subsequently struck the Mercedes a few minutes later.
