David Babunski has advised Dundee United to approach their upcoming match against struggling Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday with caution. Hibs, under manager David Gray, have recorded only one victory in their last eleven games and are positioned at the lower end of the table, although they have drawn their two most recent Premiership fixtures. Dundee United recently secured a comeback victory against the Leith club at Tannadice just a couple of weeks prior, a match Babunski noted is still “fresh in the mind.” He further elaborated, “For sure, it’s something that we’ll look at and get useful information from ahead of the game on Sunday.” Following a 2-1 home defeat to Motherwell in midweek and an earlier loss at Aberdeen, Babunski expressed apprehension that Hibs might find their form playing in front of their home supporters. The 30-year-old Macedonian attacking midfielder, who joined the club from Hungarian side Mezokovesd in July, commented on Hibs’ current situation: “It doesn’t mean anything, because they’re waiting for just that game where they can start turning their situation around.” He emphasized, “We don’t want to be the team that lets them do that. It’s a team that is struggling but has good quality players.” Babunski concluded by stating, “We do have a lot of positive things to take from the two last games where we suffered defeats.”
