The leisure pool in Surrey is set to close for a period of three weeks to enable the installation of a new interactive water feature, equipped with multiple slides and water jets. Operations at the Guildford Spectrum pool will cease temporarily from 25 November, with a planned reopening on 16 December. Freedom Leisure, the organization responsible for managing the centre, stated that the work has been scheduled during its least busy period of the year to mitigate inconvenience. The not-for-profit leisure trust also noted that it has “invested over £650,000 into enhancing the pools” at the facility over the last two years.
