Charges have been filed against an 18-year-old male in connection with a fatal road accident. Emergency services were dispatched on Tuesday at 14:30 GMT to Church Road in Felixstowe, Suffolk, following a collision between a white Nissan GTR and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, identified as Mary Kinsey, 74, from Felixstowe, was transported by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital, where she subsequently died. Lewis Meadows, of Cliff Road, Felixstowe, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is scheduled to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court. He also faces charges of aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop after a collision, using a motor vehicle without insurance, and failing to report a collision.
