The family of a man who died after being struck by a pickup truck in Northamptonshire has paid tribute to him, stating that his death “has left a great hole in all our lives”. Lewis Armour, 36, from the Kettering area, was fatally injured when a black Ford pickup hit him near the junction for Wellingborough Road on the A4500 in Earls Barton. Northamptonshire Police reported that the incident occurred on 24 November at approximately 01:55 GMT. In a tribute released on Tuesday, his family described him as “a loving father adored by his four beautiful children, who were inspired by him.” The statement further detailed: “Lewis was a son, a brother to six, a father to four beautiful children aged 14, 13, seven and 19 months old, and the long-time partner of 17 years to their beautiful mother.” The family added that Lewis was loved by all and touched the hearts of people he met throughout his life. They also stated that Lewis was a loving father adored by his four beautiful children, who were inspired by him, and that he would be missed by all their family, friends, and those who had the pleasure of meeting him. The tribute conveyed that Lewis was taken suddenly and unexpectedly from them, and his passing “has left a great hole in all our lives.” His children, the family expressed, have sadly lost a daddy, a mentor, a role model, and an inspiration. Going forward, they and the whole family can now only rely on the sweet memories they all have.
