Two educational institutions have confirmed that assistance has been made available for students rescued from a bus after it veered into a water-filled ditch on Thursday. In a joint statement, Spalding Grammar School and Spalding High School, located in Lincolnshire, indicated they are in communication with the families of those involved and were informed that none of the children sustained severe injuries. On Thursday at 17:15 GMT, a double-decker bus carrying six children collided with a ditch situated alongside Leverington Common near Wisbech St Mary, Cambridgeshire. The children were safely removed from the vehicle and subsequently collected from the scene by their parents, the schools further stated.
