An individual from Stoke-on-Trent has been formally accused of a dozen offences linked to the appropriation of items valued at approximately £40,000. The property taken during burglaries and thefts committed across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle under Lyme from July 2023 to October 2024 consisted of power tools, landscaping and fishing gear, and an off-road motorcycle. The 32-year-old, identified as being from Sandyford, faces accusations for crimes such as burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, theft from a motor vehicle, and criminal damage to property. He made an appearance at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday and was subsequently remanded in custody pending his next court appearance, according to Staffordshire Police.
