A public meeting has been scheduled to address the modifications implemented within Jersey’s adult mental health services. The government announced that this session will occur at St Helier Town Hall on Tuesday, from 18:00 to 20:00 GMT, focusing on the changes enacted over the past two years. Andy Weir, the director of mental health, social care, and community services, indicated that a program commenced in 2022 specifically to “make changes and improvements” to Jersey’s services. Mr. Weir additionally remarked: “The time is now right to showcase the progress that has been made but also to hear from islanders about the things that are working well and the areas where they feel we need to make further change or improvement.”
