All lanes on the M1 southbound in Leicestershire have reopened following a collision involving two lorries. National Highways confirmed on Wednesday at 10:40 GMT that three lanes had been closed between junction 21a (A46) and junction 21 (M69). The organization reported that all vehicles had been relocated to the hard shoulder by 12:40. Motorists are advised to allow additional journey time when using the route as traffic flows normalize.
