Rail services operating to and from Inverness have recommenced, following a significant interruption caused by a fuel spill. The occurrence took place at Inverness Station during Tuesday evening. The routes impacted included those connecting to and from Aberdeen, Perth, Kyle of Lochalsh, Wick, and Thurso.
