Following a second successive league defeat against Watford on Tuesday, Bristol City captain Jason Knight stated that the team needs to discover its “ruthless edge.” Despite registering 14 shots, with five on target, compared to Watford’s seven shots and single shot on target – the goal scored by Ryan Andrews early in the second half – Bristol City failed to convert their opportunities. Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol, Knight emphasized this point, saying, “It’s that ruthless edge. We had three or four chances; we should have really converted and then the game’s different.” He added, “We had many chances, especially first half in and around their box, and we’ve got to be more impactful.” This loss comes after a 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Saturday, positioning Bristol City 11th in the league table, five points shy of the play-off spots. Knight further commented on recent performances, stating, “The last couple of games we’ve had big moments that we haven’t capitalised on – against good teams – but we’ve got to get something out of those moments.” Post navigation Ryan Garner to Battle Salvador Jimenez in Bournemouth Chelsea and Manchester United Join Race for Patrick Dorgu
