Numerous vehicles sustained damage, including smashed windows, during an overnight incident of vandalism. Avon and Somerset Police reported that officers were dispatched after receiving calls about a man allegedly using a hammer and a machete to damage cars in Easton, Bristol. The police force confirmed that 11 vehicles on Berwick Road were affected by the attack, which took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A man in his 30s was later arrested on Stapleton Road, a short distance away, on suspicion of affray and criminal damage. He currently remains in custody, the force stated. Police are appealing for any CCTV footage or information that could aid their investigation.
