A 20-year-old man lost his life following a collision in which his car struck a tree. West Midlands Police reported that emergency services were dispatched to Manor Way in Halesowen shortly before 20:00 GMT on Monday. The police force confirmed that the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene after his black Renault Clio collided with the tree. An eastbound portion of Manor Way, situated between the roundabout connecting with Grange Road and the roundabout connecting with Hagley Road, was closed until Tuesday mid-morning and has since been reopened. The force has issued a request for anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage concerning the incident to make contact.
