North Northamptonshire Council has initiated its newest cycle of community funding grants, offering residents the opportunity to secure significant financial aid for local improvements. The council has allocated a total fund of £120,000, from which voluntary organisations, charities, town and parish councils, and local clubs are eligible to seek individual grants of £5,000. To qualify for funding, applicant groups are required to demonstrate how their proposed projects will contribute to a minimum of one of six core objectives. These objectives include fostering healthier, more fulfilling lives for residents and enhancing community connectivity. The complete application form and detailed eligibility criteria are accessible on the council’s official website. The deadline for submitting applications is 2 December. “Community and voluntary organisations are often the backbone of communities locally, providing vital support and transforming lives,” said Mark Rowley, the executive member for housing and communities at the Conservative-led council. He further stated, “From previous schemes, we know how much of a difference these grants make, and I would encourage anyone who is considering applying to look through the criteria online and apply before the deadline.” Post navigation Council’s Pace of Action Questioned After Child’s Death North Lincolnshire Council to Distribute Appliances to Pensioners to Reduce Energy Costs
