A series of warrants resulted in the arrest of five men and the confiscation of suspected illicit vapes, tobacco, and alcohol with an estimated value of £55,000. These enforcement actions were carried out on Tuesday morning in the Broadgreen district of Swindon. Wiltshire Police, collaborating with HMRC and Trading Standards, conducted raids on three retail establishments and a residential property located on Manchester Road. The individuals were apprehended on suspicion of violating the Trade Marks Act 1994 and subsequently transported to custody for interrogation. Sergeant Winter of Wiltshire Police stated: “There are strict limits on what vapes can contain in order to keep the public safe. Some of the ones we seized vastly exceeded the restrictions.” He further commented, “This was a highly successful morning involving excellent multi-agency work.” Post navigation Data on police complaints released following procedural alteration Arrest Made Following Discovery of Suspected Cannabis Factory
