Boardmasters Announces First Wave of Performers

The initial headlining performers for the annual music festival held in Newquay have been revealed. Boardmasters confirmed that The Prodigy and Raye are scheduled to headline the event, which is slated for 6-10 August 2025. Event organizers also disclosed 40 additional performers, noting that “hundreds more” acts are still to be unveiled. Following an incident at last year’s festival where seven individuals were hospitalized due to a crowd surge on the Friday evening, organizers have committed to increasing security staff by 20%. For the first time, organizers stated they would introduce afternoon sessions, featuring Kaiser Chiefs, Natasha Bedingfield, and Rizzle Kicks as headliners. They further mentioned that London Grammar, Maribou State, Nelly Furtado, and Wet Leg are also slated to perform at the Watergate Bay venue. General admission tickets for Boardmasters 2025 will become available for purchase at 10:00 GMT on Friday, preceded by presale tickets starting at 10:00 on Thursday.
